Welcome to my Gallery

This is The Monterey Mission, painted in Watercolor.
I've been a member of Burbank Art Association for over 15 years, and have served in some capacity on the board for the past 14 years, including President.  In addition to ongoing art lessons in watercolor, I've learned a great deal from the visiting artist's demonstrating at our monthly meetings.  I am a member of the Honors Division, having won several awards for my art work in B.A.A. shows.
My first attempts at becoming an artist started about 35 years ago with some oil paints, canvas and how to books.  I loved painting, but found after a few years I was allergic to oil paints and had to give it up.  While redecorating my home 20 years ago I decided that new paintings were needed so I tried water color, along with some how to do it books.  Shortly thereafter I started taking watercolor classes from various teachers and attending workshops.  Each teacher and workshop taught me new techniques.  Soon painting became a therapy and when life became too stressful, I'd pick up my brush and watercolor paper and forget the world existed, I still love to paint.
If you are interested in any of my work, please post a message in my guest book, or send me an e-mail.  My paintings are unframed, Matted, size 16x 20, price of each is $100.00-Framed $150.00 plus shipping costs.

Thanks for visiting my gallery.
